Workshops in a class of their own

Having qualified as a teacher in 2001 I worked as Science Lead for 6 years before deciding to leave my post and follow a MSc course in Animal Behaviour - studying field techniques in Madeira, Mull and Tanzania.

Whilst studying I launched Wildworkshops - visiting schools to captivate, engage and inspire primary children with hands-on nature workshops. Schools loved it - I talked at shows and conferences and now, 16 years later, work nationwide. Alongside Jah McKenzie we now provide 'Really WildWorkshops' - inner city shows bringing wildlife to the UK's most urban schools.

“If children are not engaged with nature, if they do not understand it, why would they want to save it?”
